In addition to his work as an author, Stefan Bachmann is also an artist and illustrator, focusing on gothic, surreal, and whimsical scenes for a variety of publishers and clients. His art tends toward the eerie-yet-playful: masked figures, writhing trees, crescent moons, and haunting, faintly uncanny imagery.
